I really wanted to expand my brand
and work with high school seniors;
I wanted to document whom
they had become to capture this
momentous moment in time. As
parents see their kids off into the
world, these portraits help capture
their child before they send them
to achieve their own goals and
aspirations. In addition, it’s an over-
the-top fashion/modeling session,
and who doesn’t love an excellent
modeling session?

In the pursuit of my dreams and
aspirations, I am celebrating ten years in
business. My name is Kalysa Wilson, and
I am the owner of Emage Studio and
Emage Boudoir, a photography studio
in Central Florida. My journey started in
2008 when a dear friend of mine told
me that I would be great behind the
camera because I’m so tall. And there,
Ashira Photography was created; I
turned my hobby into a business after
a few months of practice. I am a self-
taught photographer, picking up every
book and watching every video that
would assist me in fine-tuning my craft.
But with all the businesses I have tried,
photography is indeed my calling. I love
it. I love inspiring people to see the
beauty in them as I have captured it on
screen.
This journey has not been an easy one.
I have persevered through the ups and
downs in finding my niche. I started out
as a wedding photographer but quickly
learned that even with that beautiful
moment in time, it was not really my
place.
A client of mine asked me about
shooting the latest new trend, which
was boudoir photography at the time;
and after a little bit of research, I agreed.
I fell in love with helping women see
the beauty they had inside of them and
helping them rediscover their inner
sexy selves. Women from their mid-
20s to women in their 70s. I have had
clients from all over the world come to
my studio for a boudoir session. I was
showcased on TV for helping baby
boomers rediscover their sex appeal.
These milestones and career highs gave
me the inspiration to persue more.
