have completed Bible school and am a candidate for my PhD in Psychology! I was a business owner for five years in another state. Texas was a great start to a blossoming future with my family. Residing in Florida was part of my plan. In 2012, we packed up our 12 years of family growth, business ventures, future desires and moved to the Sunshine State. Here is where I found my true calling in what God wanted me to do for Him in my life. I realize that my purpose is to speak and write God’s Word for His people. It took me and others in their fields of expertise to guide me into my purpose as a lifestyle. I began to research and study how I wanted to live my life and serve others. I realized that the impact I could leave on women’s lives through my gifts and talents could change the world. I want to share my understanding of how life works with women, so they can prosper and help other women. I created my inspirational seminars to empower women. My first published book, and now both of my professions as designer and life coach blended together, allows me to teach, guide and coach women into living in Divine Order (Mind ~ Body ~ Home). My journey has been an amazing roller coaster ride of eventful moments that have blessed me as well as taught me lessons. Life is amazing when your purpose is being fulfilled. Being a “Multi- Experienced Diva,” I know firsthand that to be a successful woman who inspires and takes women to another level in their lives, we all need a Life Coach. I have a Personal Coach and Business Coach. Women, we all need that expert to guide us, coach us, and teach us to be a better woman. I combined my design business and coaching business together and it landed me into my brand called “Simply Maurita.” I desire simply for women to live in Divine Order and carry out their God-given gifts and talents to serve others. Life is what you desire it to be. Contact me after you answer the questionnaire on page 9, and let’s build that life you desire. We can make a difference in the world for ourselves and others. Q & A If you wrote a book this year, what would be the title and why? What defines you? Empowering women and sharing life with them with my God-given gifts and talents defines me as Maurita. It’s not what I do, it’s how I do it, and that is through my abilities to accomplish what I set out to do for them. What is success to you? Money, power, nor fame is success to me. It is truly my accomplishments I set out for myself. My relationship with Christ is my #1 key to success in my life. The people I allow in my personal life and business life are those I build my success upon. My social impact in my community and around the world reflects my success. And lastly, my well-being and attitude towards myself allows me to be healthy and control how I appear to myself and others. What are you most thankful for? I am thankful for God allowing me to be Maurita! I adore my husband, children and friends! Sharing my life with them is so rewarding. Each day I thank God for them. I never take them for granted. Now, as for me, I am thankful for my abilities to soar through my life as a giver and lover of God! Everything that I am blessed with is the icing on the cake. How to Organize Your Life in Divine Order. I assert that keeping ourselves organized lets us see clearly where we want to go in life and what road we want to take. When we are organized, we can see what is missing. Where there is clutter, we become disorganized mentally and physically. How do you relax? On any given day of relaxing for me, I turn on my Jazz Café music and light one of my Simply Maurita M Candles, and then I clean. I love to redesign my furniture and accessories to make my spaces brand new. This leads me to mopping and dusting! I totally love it. How do you celebrate success? I adore planning events to create success as well as celebrate success. Events that will help others, volunteer work (recently Atlanta, GA – T. E. A. M. Project), and missionary work (my 2016 Paris, France trip – Church Food Bank). Giving of my time and abilities to support others is my desire in life to continue succeeding. Words of wisdom to another woman… We have this one life to live. Choose to live it with no regrets or judgments, and accept the choices you make for your successes as learning lessons. Living in Divine Order allows you to make good choices for your wellbeing, organize your home, and have your mind clear and open to operate wisely. “Do not ever compromise your standards or values; your way of being is valued somewhere.” — Maurita Sutton Brown VOL 4, Issue 2 n IBASuccessMagazine.com 27
